What is Always On?
Always On is ImportGSM's solution for the need to stay in touch - in plain terms, it's a rental phone. Let's face it: things happen. Your car needs maintenance, your computer needs to go back for repair. ImportGSM takes every step possible to make sure our phones never come back, but sometimes, our customers take advantage of our 1-year warranty, and send their phone back for updates or repairs. During this time, on average 7-10 business days, our customers are without phones. So we created the Always On Program.
With Always On, you are shipped a rental phone before you send your phone back to us for repair. Once you have your rental phone up and running (no activation needed - just swap the sim card and in 30 seconds, your rental phone is working), you put your phone back in the Always On box the rental was shipped in, put the return label on the outside of the box, and FedEx will come pick the phone up. During the repair period, you can use our rental phone as much as you want. When your original phone comes back, put the rental phone back in the Always On box, put the return label on the box, and ship it back to us.
With Always On, you are never out of touch, never without a phone, guaranteed.

Do I pay shipping for any of this?
Shipping costs are included in the always on package- you never pay shipping!
What are these rental phones like? Will I be carrying around a brick with a 4 foot antenna?
Of course not! We use the same high end phones we sell. Generally, you can expect a color screen camera phone, made within the past 2 years, from a well-known manufacturer, such as Motorola or Nokia.
How long will I be without a phone?
About 30 seconds, while you change phones. The rental phone comes to you before your phone gets sent to us.
What other charges can I expect beyond the $15.00?
None. You are given unlimited rentals for a year, and the $15.00 covers everything. We will require a deposit for cost of the loaner phone prior to it shipping, which will be refunded once it is returned in the condition it was sent.
How do I sign up for Always On?
Signup is an option before you add the item to your cart. In the product options
section, under the specifications, click the drop down menu and select Always
On to ensure you're loaner phone is available when you need it the most!
I need a loaner phone. How do I obtain one?
First, fill out an RMA
form here. Once you've filled out an RMA and faxed it to 484-450-2500 or emailed
it to support@importgsm.com, contact
support to request an Always On replacement
phone.
How do I get my AlwaysOn Loaner phone up and running?
It's easy- just open up the back of your phone and take out the battery. Behind it is your SIM card- a small, easily removable chip that looks like a rectangle with one of the corners cut off. Take this chip out of your broken phone, place it in the SIM card slot in your loaner phone, put the battery in and turn it on, and the loaner phone will automatically work with your number!
